Ethics and the Environment is published two times a year. We solicit papers on all topics encompassed by the broad term, environmental ethics. Occasionally we publish an issue on a selected theme. Papers may be submitted at any time. All submissions should be in the format used in Ethics and the Environment -- the Chicago Manual of Style's author/date system of citing references. Please send two copies of manuscripts, one without author identification. All submissions except those clearly outside the scope of this journal will be reviewed anonymously by outside readers. We have three categories of response: accept with no or minor revision, revise and resubmit, and reject. Authors of accepted manuscripts will be asked for a final draft, including a 100-word abstract in a format readable by Microsoft Word (.doc or .rtf) to be submitted via email.
