The Philosophy Department is happy to announce that this June, Philosophy major Hayden Lamar’s essay “The Intangible Bounds of Cognition: Adams and Aizawa Draw the Line” will appear in The Classic, the Writing Intensive Program’s journal of undergraduate writing and research. This paper considers the realism of Fred Adams and Ken Aizawa’s functionalism and applies it to Andy Clark and David Chalmers’ all-too-inclusive position on cognitive integration.
