LIMITED TERM INSTRUCTOR - Ancient & Medieval Metaphysics and Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Science

Andrew (Drew) Costa received his PhD from the state University of New York at Albany in 2002. His primary areas of teaching and research interest are ancient and medieval metaphysics and epistemology, with a historical focus on how these relate to the development of rationalism, empiricism, and transcendental idealism. Other current areas of study are evolutionary epistemology and contemporary philosophy of mind. With these, he is primarily interested in issues of reduction, emergence, and higher-level causation.
