Friday, September 19 2025, 9:30am - 5pm Saturday, September 20 2025, 9:30am - 5pm Demosthenian Hall & The Athenaeum Scholars from throughout the region will gather on UGA's campus September 19-20 for the Southern Aesthetics Workshop. The public is welcome to attend Friday's keynote address by David Barbe of University of Georgia at 4pm in Demosthenian Hall as well as the talk on "Humor and Grief" by invited lecturer Kathleen Higgins of University of Texas on Saturday at 4:15pm in The Athenaeum.
